PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a picture which is low in fogging, high in Dmax (the maximum density) and less in rise of fogging and sensitivity fluctuation when stored by packaging a heat developable photosensitive material by adjusting humidity so that the relative humidity is within a specific range. SOLUTION: A packed article is formed by packing the heat developable photosensitive material having non-photosensitive silver salt, photosensitive silver halide, a core-making agent and a binder on a support so that the inside relative humidity is >=10% and <=50%. The case where the relative humidity inside the packed product exceeds 50% is not preferable because a rise in fogging and sensitivity fluctuation due to storing are large. Further, the case where the relative humidity inside the packed article is <10% is not preferable because the activity of heat developing is lowered, thus sufficient picture density is not obtained. Accordingly, by adjusting the relative humidity at >=10% and <=50%, a rise in fogging (D min) and sensitivity fluctuation due to the storing of the heat developable photosensitive material is effectively suppressed.
