摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability by maintaining a position of an inertia member stably in a centrifugal variable diameter pulley changing speed by using a centrifugal force of the inertia member in mounting a variable diameter pulley on a belt transmission system and assembling the variable diameter pulley itself. SOLUTION: An inertia member 59 is accommodated in an accommodation chamber 58 that is divided between a pair of guide surfaces 60, 61 formed with conical taper surfaces and that has a wedge shape in cross section in such a shape that the further in a centrifugal direction a location is, the narrower a width is. When a variable diameter pulley is stopped and no tension is applied to a belt 7, a compression coil spring 65 elastically presses the inertia member 59 through a plunger 64 and keeps it at a location of the maximum displacement in the centrifugal direction. A power transmission ring 6 is kept in a coaxial position so that there is no play in the whole variable diameter pulley does not play. Workability of mounting and assembling, therefore, is improved.
