PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge locking mechanism superior in operation, installed between first and second units connected together to be openable/closeable for locking the movement side unit of the first and second units at open and close positions. SOLUTION: A hinge locking mechanism includes a pin 26 formed with a small-sized oval section 26c, a circular hole as a fitting hole 31a for fitting the small-sized oval section 26c so as to change a relative rotational position relationship corresponding to the opening angle of a movement side unit 21, for rotatably fitting the circular face of the small-sized oval section 26c, a hinge plate 31 provided ranging to the circular hole, wherein a fitting hole is provided consisting of a rectangular hole for slidably fitting the parallel face of the small-sized oval section 16c when the movement side unit 21 is locked at an open position, and a operating lever 37 provided on the movement side unit 21 for unlocking with the parallel face of the small-sized oval section 26c unfitting the rectangular hole during locking at the open position and for locking and unlocking at a close position when the movement side unit 21 is at the close position.
