摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the temp. of blast furnace top gas to that moisture in the blast furnace top gas at the furnace top part does not become the saturating state or higher. SOLUTION: The moisture content in the blast furnace top gas in an uptake tube is measured with a moisture meter 11 and this measured value and the moisture content in the saturating state at the upper part of the uptake tube, are compared and a spraying water flow rate till becoming the saturating state is obtd. On the other hand, the blast furnace top gas temp. in the uptake tube is measured with a thermometer 4, and this measured value and a regulating temp. at the upper part of the uptake tube are compared, and a spraying water flow rate for cooling till regulating temp. is obtd. These two spraying water flow rates are compared and the smaller side in these flow rates is set as the spraying water flow rate to an adjusting value 6 for adjusting the spraying water flow rate. Further, the spraying water flow rate is measured with a flow meter 13 arranged at the front of the adjusting valve 6, and while adjusting the opening degree of the adjusting valve 6 based on this difference between the measured value and the spraying water flow rate setting value, the cooling water is sprayed from a spraying water nozzle 3 to indirectly cool the blast furnace top gas.
