PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a readily producible cutting blade for a reaper capable of easily locating mutual members to be welded with a slight welding distortion and sufficiently ensuring even the strength of a shank part. SOLUTION: This cutting blade for a reaper is obtained by forming grooves 24 extending in the axial direction on the outer peripheral surface of a tip 202, providing a basic end 201 with a rodlike shank part 7 mounted on the reaper and a platy blade part 8 having a notched part 26 formed at the basic end, making an edge part 207 of the notched part 26 fitted and inserted into the grooves 24, thereby fitting and inserting the tip 202 of the shank part 7 into the notched part 26 of the platy blade part 8 and welding the fitted and inserted tip 202 of the shank part 7 to a part of the platy blade part 8 along the tip 202.
