PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a movable frame from rotating and being caught while being kept in parallel with a fixed frame during moving at the time of changing the shape of a couch by the relative displacement of two flat frames. SOLUTION: In order to slide a movable frame 2 in a fixed frame 1, longitudinal-direction parts 10 are provided at the fixing frame and longitudinal- direction guides 11 are formed inside them. The divan is provided with elements 23 and 23a for enabling the engaging means 33 of the frame 2 to slide within the longitudinal-direction guides and placing the frame 2 on the ground surface and a means 40 for constituting the elements to be rotated from an elevated position to a lowered position or to be rotated in an opposite direction when the frame 2 is pulled out from or inserted to the frame 1 and operating the element 23 so as to suspend on the ground surface.
