PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction of induced voltage in order to lower an eddy current loss by coupling a rotor yoke and a thinner part at both ends in the circumferential direction of a permanent magnet. SOLUTION: This permanent magnet rotor is composed of two kinds of motor core sheets 11, 12, and a plurality of rotor core sheet 12 at both ends in the axial direction are respectively formed of a rotor yoke part 12a located at the internal diameter side 13a of the permanent magnet 13. a thinner part 12b located in the external diameter side 13b and a coupling part 12c connecting these elements at both ends 13c in the circumference direction. Consequently, a permanent magnet embedding hole is also formed. Moreover, the rotor core sheet 11 is formed of only a rotor yoke part, a permanent magnet 13 is arranged at the external diameter part of the rotor yoke of the rotor core, and the both ends of rotor are fixed by providing a bolt or a rivet pin through the through- hole 16 using an end plate 14. Only a small part at both ends in the axial direction is formed as the rotor core sheet 12 to hold the permanent magnet. As a result, magnetic short-circuit is never generated and drop of induced voltage can be prevented, thereby lowering eddy current.
