<p>The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for selective and/or unselective vaporisation and/or decomposition of, particularly, hydrocarbon compounds in liquid form, where the liquid is placed in an artificial gravitational field, and where a mechanical supply of energy is provided to the liquid in the artificial gravitational field. The apparatus comprises a process chamber (1) into which the liquid (6) is introduced.
