PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate recycling of a cathode ray tube and also surely grip the cathode ray tube. SOLUTION: In the display device, a boss 3 and a guide boss 6 opposite to each other are provided to an assembling face between a cabinet 1 and a rear cover 2, a rib 4 is formed to a tip of the mount boss 3 and a hole 7 is made to a tip of the guide boss 6, respectively. Thus, the cathode ray tube can be positioned by inserting the rib 4 to the hole of a mount plate of a cathode ray tube to position the cathode ray tube and the cabinet 1 and the rear cover 2 clamp the mount plate 5 of the cathode ray tube and the mount plate 5 is tightened by machine screws.
