PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dyeing composition having excellent resistance to the attacking factors against hair such as shampoo and light and giving colored hair having high chromaticity by including a specific pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine compound, a specific polyaminopyrimidine and a coupler. SOLUTION: The objective dyeing composition contains (A) a pyrazolo[1,5- a]pyrimidine compound of formula (R1 to R4 are each H, a 1-4C alkyl or the like; X is H, a 1-4C alkyl or the like; (i) is 0-3; (p), (q) and (n) are each 0 or 1) e.g. pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3,7-diamine) as the 1st oxidation base, (B) a monocyclic polyaminopyrimidine (e.g. 2,4,5,6-tetraaminopyrimidine) as the 2nd oxidation base and (C) a coupler (e.g. 5-amino-2-methylphenol). Preferably, the amount of the component A and the component B is 0.0005-12 wt.% each and that of the component C is 0.0001-10 wt.%.
