PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively proceed recording operation when buffer under-run occurs at the time of recording information data to an optical information recording medium recordable thereon. SOLUTION: After a prescribed initial setting for recording, a controller 9 confirms to be ready for receiving an information data to be recorded in a signal processing part 7, checks whether or not an information data quantity enough to prepare one packet is stored in a buffer 10, and if it is not stored, the controller judges as buffer under-run, and processes a setting to stop recording so as to interrupt a packet record processing.
