PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ink absorbency is a printing under a high picture quality mode, improve the water-resistance and the coloring property of a printed article, and prevent the strength of a receiving layer from decreasing, by forming a binder for the forming of an ink receiving layer, of a cationic polymer, an inorganic filler, and a sulfosuccinic acid ester based surface active agent. SOLUTION: This binder composition which is used for the ink receiving layer of an ink recording paper is formed of a cationic polymer, an inorganic filler, and a sulfosuccinic acid ester based surface active agent. The cationic polymer which is used in this case means a polymer having a cationic functional group, and for the inorganic filler, a synthetic silica, alumina, calcium carbonate or the like can be counted, and preferably, synthetic silica, and further, an amorphous synthetic silica is used from viewpoints of an ink absorbency and a coloring property or the like. Also, there are various kinds as the sulfosuccinic acid ester based surface active agent, but preferably, dioctyl sodium suflosucciate, dihyexyl sodium sulfosucciate, or dicyclohexyl acid sodium sulfosucciate is used. |
