PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk which can improve the use efficiency of the storage area of a physical format by minimizing the overhead of an address storage area. SOLUTION: The storage area of the optical disk P2 is so physically formatted that a spiral track groove for recording information along a radius of the optical disk P2 or reproducing the recorded information is formed and divided into, for example, zones 21 to 2n (n: natural number) along a radius. The track groove forming the zones has a wobble track WT1, wobbling in prescribed cycles along a radius of the optical disk P2, by providing nonzigzag parts NWT1 which do not wobble in cycles. Then wobbles of adjacent wobble tracks WT1 in the zones 21 to 2n are adjusted and put almost in phase with each other according to the length of nonzigzag parts NWT1. Different frequencies of wobbles are generated by the zones and the frequencies become address information. |
