PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily fittable a battery to a wheel chair of various models with different frames so that the fitting position of the battery as a power source is not interfered by the frame or other parts. SOLUTION: The electric wheel chair comprises a frame 2 to support a seat, a pair of right and left axles 34 fixed to the frame 2, and a pair of right and left wheels 5 which are rotatably fitted to the axles 34 through a hub 30. The hub 30 comprises a hub body 31 fixed to the center of the wheel 5, and a lid body 35 which covers an opening of the hub body 31, is integratedly fixed to the axle 34, and connected to the hub body 31 in a relatively rotatable manner to the hub body 31, and a battery pack 7 is fitted to a part backwardly and diagonally upward of the hub 30 through a battery holder 110.
