PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for balancing load on network provided with plural client systems and servers. SOLUTION: Requests from client systems 11a and 11b are distributed to different servers on a wide area network by selecting servers 19a and 19b optimum for a specified client request. The requests from the clients to the servers 19a and 19b are received and a destination point is explicated by a load balance server selector 15. The client request is transmitted to the load balance server selector 15 on the basis of the destination point, one server is selected corresponding to network traffic congestion or load and routes to the client systems 11a and 11b and the server for client request transmission are provided.
