PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding refuse protector which can easily perform assembly and folding. SOLUTION: This folding refuse protector, formed with a bottom part in an opened almost rectangular parallelepiped shape, is provided with a back surface part 1, roof surface part 2, a pair of side surface parts 3B, and a front surface part 4. This folding refuse protector, in a condition that it is assembled by fitting a fitting protruded/recessed part 61, 62 to each other and hooking latches 71, 72 to lock a pipe 41 in the front surface part 4 latched to a latch part 8, can be used without a play by protecting an object contained in the folding refuse protector. The pipe 41 is removed from the latch part 8, next fitting of the fitting protruded/recessed part 61, 62 is released, and then the ceiling surface part 2 is turned to a back surface side of the back surface part 1, next the latches 71, 72 are unhooked, thereafter each side surface part 3B is turned to a front side of the back surface part 1, so that the refuse protector can be folded.
