PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for simply propagating useful microorganisms such as antagonistic microorganisms to plant pathogens, microorganisms accelerating the fermentation/composting of organic raw materials, microorganisms having water purification ability, microorganisms accelerating the decomposition of plastics and the like in a short term. SOLUTION: This method is to include microorganisms in a mixture comprising 100 pts.wt. carrier having 30-70 wt.% moisture content and showing pH 6.0-9.0 and 0.5-30 pts.wt. wheat bran and, if necessary, 0.5-20 pts.wt. propagation auxiliary.
