PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a solder connection place from being broken owing to a difference in coefficient of thermal expansion from a holder interposed between the lead pins and printed board of a display element when the display element held on the holder is electrically connected to the printed board. SOLUTION: The display device has the display element 1 mounted on the printed board 3 across the holder 5 made of an insulating material and the holder 5 has insertion holes 8 into which multiple lead pins 2 are inserted and guided respectively, restriction parts R1 and R2 which are provided at the inner wall parts of the insertion holes 8 and press and energize the lead pins 2 in specific directions, and a buffer part 9 which is provided at part of the holder 5 fitted onto the printed board 3 so as to reduce stress applied to the lead pins 2.
