The invention discloses a cutting device for cutting a film web and for cutting off corners at the same time, comprising a first cutter for cutting off the film web and at least two additional cutters for cutting off the corners obliquely, the at least two additional cutters converging in V shape and meeting the first cutter in a common point of intersection. The first cutter and the at least two additional cutters are produced integrally from a single strip-shaped blank. A method for producing such cutting device comprises the steps of cutting initially along a given length of a strip-shaped blank, from one end along a cutting line extending in the longitudinal direction, folding the strip over about a folding line constituting the prolongation of the cutting line, and bending the two end portions so produced by the cutting step away one from the other in V shape. The cutting device is used in a device for producing plastic bags comprising a flap. |
