PURPOSE: A surface course treatment method for hyper soft foundation improvement of coast reclamation area by paving sand blanket mat is provided to supply high quality foundation and reduce construction cost. CONSTITUTION: In the surface course treatment method for hyper soft foundation improvement of coast reclamation area by paving sand blanket mat, the dredge reclamation soil(1) is located in between the both revetment(11,11'). The Geogrids is installed on the dredge reclamation and the both sides of Geogrids are soil-anchored(2') by backhoe or winch, and the P.P fiber non-woven fabric(3) is paved on the upside of geogrids. And the sands are paved on the whole surface of Geogrids and non-woven fabric by sand pump(4) and supplying hose extending over six steps of 10cm, 10cm, 20cm, 40cm, 50cm, 70cm and then the whole surface courses are improved and treated, so that the lateral flow can be prevented.
