METHOD FOR DISPLAYING INTERNET SKIN BANNER ADVERTISEMENT USING TOOL WINDOW OF WEB BROWSER

PURPOSE: A method for displaying an internet skin banner advertisement using a tool window of a web browser is provided to increase the effect of an internet advertisement, by continuously showing the skin advertisement corresponding to a background size of the tool window to a consumer, and enabling an internet user to surf on the internet with watching the advertisement. CONSTITUTION: A web browser is executed, and a client program for a skin banner is installed in a client computer(S210,S220). The client program requests the advertisement whenever the web browser is executed(S230), and the information of the internet user is transmitted to a server program for the skin banner(S240). An advertisement server transmits the advertisement to the client program immediately when it receives the request for the advertisement(S250). It is checked by detecting a mouse click and an enter key whether the advertisement is displayed in the skin area(S260). If the mouse click and the enter key is not inputted, the transmission of the advertisement and an accumulation of points is stopped(S300). The user is given a compensation corresponding to the accumulated points in a database(S270).
