PURPOSE: An advertisement service system using program for reporting the incoming of an e-mail is provided to enable the e-mail to be used conveniently, and to allow a user to receive money or a gift according to the amount of the clicks of the advertisement, by displaying a character for alarming the arrival of the e-mail, and measuring the number of the user's exposure to the advertisement. CONSTITUTION: A communication network(10) establishes the connections between e-mail servers(20), user computers(30) and a server computer(40) for a data communication. The user computers(30) in which the incoming report program is installed by download execute the installed program to display an animation character including advertisement data. When the user who receives the e-mail recognizes the displayed animation character and thereby checks the received e-mail, the user computers(30) create e-mail read data to send it to a server computer(40). If the checking of the received e-mail is completed, the user computers(30) connect to the certain web page of an advertisement data provider. The server computer(40) provides a database that stores the data of the animation character, and transmits the program to the user computers(30).
