PURPOSE: An ointment preparation for treatment of a burn is provided, which shows antibiotic ability and local anesthetic effect; so cures burn parts without pain or infection(so other analgesics or antibiotics are not needed) rapidly. A gauze containing the ointment preparation is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The ointment preparation for treatment of a burn comprises of lidocaine(K.P.) 25mg, silver sulfadiazine(K.P.) 10mg, white wasellin(K.P.) 860mg, and refined lanolin(K.P.) 105mg in 1gram of the preparation. The silver sulfadiazine shows broad antibiotic ability from Gram(+) and Gram(-) to a part of fungus without cross-tolerance with other exterior medicine for an infection. The gauze for treatment of a burn is manufactured by applying mixed composition of lidocaine(K.P.) 50mg, silver sulfadiazine(K.P.) 20mg, white wasellin(K.P.) 1720mg, and refined lanolin(K.P.) 210mg on the cotton gauze 10x10cm.
