APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING FEED FROM FOOD WASTE BY VACUUM DRYING

PURPOSE: An apparatus comprising a vacuum dry tank maintaining at 1 Torr for drying food waste, a dust collecting tank and a deodorizer as a main component is provided which effectively converts food waste into feed and contributes to prevent environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a boiler (1) for producing high temperature stream; a dry tank (2) for vacuum drying food waste at 70°C at a pressure of 2 kg/cm¬2 for about 1 hr; a dust collecting tank (3) for removing dust generated in the dry tank; an air blower (76) and a vacuum pump (72, 73) for discharging gas in the dry tank; a deodorizer (74, 77) for removing malodor from exhaust gas; a grinder (5) for grinding food waste to a size of 30 mesh; and a storage tank (6).
