PURPOSE: Method of processing rice combined with seaweed is provided, which prevents geriatric diseases and has a natural flavor of seaweed. CONSTITUTION: The processing method for rice containing seaweed includes following steps: (i) drying a seaweed like laver, a tangle, a brown seaweed, or green laver in the sun and grinding to get seaweed powder; (ii) boiling rice at 100°C for 40min, drying in the sun, getting brown rice by using a husker and grinding the rice to make rice flour; (iii) mixing 20% of the seaweed powder and 35-45% of water to 80% of the rice flour and pressing the dough to make a shape of grain of rice; and then (iv) polishing the rice 1-2times. The processed rice can be cooked in a short time without being washed. |
