The sensor, which is used to detect the material being machined, comprises two parts (10, 21), one of which is securable to a work tool or inside the machine, the sensor being releasably secured to the other part. One part (10) includes two arms (11, 12) that define a notch whose sides diverge towards the free ends of the arms and include round incisions whose midpoints (20) lie in between the arms. The other part has grooves for receiving the arms and a spring-loaded piston (24) with a cone-shaped section (32) received by the round incisions, so that the piston holds the two parts together. |
