PS STEEL PRE-STRESSING METHOD FOR PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT OF BRIDGE

PURPOSE: A PS steel pre-stressing method for performance improvement of bridge is provided to improve a work capacity by pre-stressing the PS steel with lower part of girder in the girder and prevent the loss of pre-stress force of PS steel. CONSTITUTION: A PS steel pre-stressing method for performance improvement of bridge comprises the steps of; installing anchorage(4) in the supporting point to anchor a PS steel(2) to the upper part of girder; anchoring the both ends of PS steel loosely to the anchorage; installing a fixing member(6) in the lower part of girder(1) placed in between the supporting points so that one PS steel or more can pass through; pre-stressing the PS steel in the fixing member and then fixing.
