PURPOSE: A process for preparing a building block by mixing various industrial wastes containing waste fireproof block, waste clay block, soda ash sludge and domestic sewage sludge, molding and sintering is provided which produces a building block having high strength and quality at low cost and contributes to reduce environmental pollution. CONSTITUTION: The process comprises the steps of crushing waste fireproof block containing a large amount of stone powder components and waste clay block containing a large amount of clay components to a particle having a predetermined size; drying soda ash sludge containing a large amount of calcareous, domestic sewage sludge containing soil and sand, aluminium sludge containing a large amount of aluminium; iron sludge containing a large amount of iron; grinding; mixing raw material comprising 18 to 22% by weight waste of a fireproof block, 18 to 22% by weight of a waste clay block, 18 to 22% by weight of soda ash sludge, 8 to 22% by weight of domestic sewage sludge, 8 to 12% by weight of aluminium sludge and 8 to 12% by weight of iron sludge, compression molding and sintering at 1,100 to 1,150°C.
