PURPOSE: A plasma display panel using a high frequency is provided to improve the discharging efficiency by using an address electrode parallel to a scanning electrode at a cross position where the address electrode and the scanning electrode are crossed. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel includes a discharging cell arranged in a matrix shape. The plasma display panel uses a high frequency discharging. The discharging cell comprises a scanning electrode, an address electrode, and a high frequency electrode. The scanning electrode supplies scanning signals. The address electrode is arranged so as to be perpendicular to the scanning electrode. The address electrode has a portion parallel to the scanning electrode at a cross position where the address electrode and the scanning electrode are crossed. The high frequency electrode is opposite to the scanning electrode, and supplies a high frequency signal. |
