PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical laminated body which favorably functions as a polarized light diffracting element by constituting the optical laminated body with at least a supporting substrate/adhesive layer 1/diffraction element layer/ adhesive layer 2/cholesteric liquid crystal layer/protective layer and imparting ultraviolet absorbency and hard coatability to the protective layer. SOLUTION: The optical laminated body is constituted of at least a supporting substrate/adhesive layer 1/diffraction element layer/adhesive layer 2/cholesteric liquid crystal layer/protective layer, and ultraviolet absorbency and hard coatability are given to the protective layer. As the supporting substrate, one suitably selected from films, glass plates or the like can be used. As the adhesive layers 1 and 2, adhesive-bonding agents, reactive adhesives or the like are suitably used. As the diffraction element layer, the diffraction element layer having diffraction effect can be used without specific restriction. As the cholesteric liquid crystal layer, a cholesteric liquid crystal film, sheet or the like can be used without specific restriction. The protective layer having ultraviolet absorbency and hard coat property is used without restriction. |
