PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discharging mechanism for a card connector to prevent data and a circuit part in a card from being electrically destroyed by giving a warning to a user before the card is discharged by an error. SOLUTION: A protective button 11 is disposed on the front surface of an eject button 10 normally pushed, a shutter 17 is attached to its tip through a protective shaft 20 by utilizing a spring 12, the output level of a light detecting element on a base 18 is varied by opening and shutting the shutter 17, and in addition, a card ejector 14 is locked by a stopper 22. Thereby, if a card is forced to be discharged by an error while reading and writing card data, a warning is given from the device side before the card is discharged, and data and a circuit part in the card is prevented from being electrically destroyed with a simple structure. |
