PURPOSE: To provide the economical radio communication system having provision for increase/decrease in subscribers remotely from an exchange flexibly. CONSTITUTION: A central control station 2 and plural base stations 4 are connected via a radio channel through at least one relay station 3 and the central control station 2 and the relay station 3 are connected by the TDM(time division multiplex) system, and the relay station 2 and the plural base stations 4 in outgoing transmission are connected by the TDM system and the relay station 2 and the plural base stations 4 in incoming transmission are connected by the TDMA (time division multiplexing access) system respectively. The communication service is served even to subscribers 5 distributed apart from the exchange 1 by installing the relay station 3, and the multiplex address system is adopted for a radio channel 106 interconnecting the relay station 3 and the plural base stations 4 and a radio channel 107 interconnecting each base station 4 and the plural subscriber terminals contained in the station 4 to realize the economical communication system having ease of provision for increase/decrease in subscribers. |
