PRODUCTION OF COATED POLYESTER FABRIC

PURPOSE: A process for preparing a coated polyester fabric by preparing a coating agent using porous silica and polyurethane resin, coating the coating agent on polyester fabrics and heating is provided which reduces migration of a dispersion dye and improves fastness. CONSTITUTION: In the preparation of a coated polyester fabric by pretreating such as dyeing with a disperse dye, water repelling and calendering, a coating agent is prepared by adding a surface modified silica obtained by reacting porous silica having a diameter of 15 to 35 angstrom and a surface area of 700 to 900 m¬2/g and 3-aminopropyltriethylsilane to a curing agent and polyurethane resin, the coating agent is coated on polyester fabrics, heated at 150 to 180°C for 30 to 120 sec. and dried to give the coated polyester fabric.
