PURPOSE: An apparatus for assisting interpretation services is provided to use wire/wireless telephones to connect foreigners with interpreters in remote places, so as to supply the interpretation services at any time and at any places. CONSTITUTION: A memory(320) stores at least one short key dial number and serial numbers of devices. A controller(310) sequentially outputs short key dial numbers and the serial numbers to an outputting circuit(330) when key buttons(231,232,233,234) are pressed. The key buttons are connected to a data bus via a key logic(340). The outputting circuit delivers signals to a telephone. An apparatus for assisting interpretation services is connected to a jack output terminal(220). Each terminal of the jack output terminal is connected with a signal interface of a mobile communication terminal. The mobile communication terminal receives present state information from a jack input terminal(210) through an input/output buffer(330). A central processing unit(CPU)(310) reads a present state of the mobile communication terminal, and transmits dialing information with call setup commands. The CPU delivers the dialing information and the serial numbers with dual tone multi frequency(DTMF) signals, when the state information is not assisted or the mobile communication terminal is not necessary.
