PURPOSE: A system for managing purchase and reception of an electronic gift certificate is provided to enable a client to purchase and receive the electronic gift certificate with an identification number of the communication terminal such as a mobile phone. CONSTITUTION: Each of user terminal(100) comprised of a buyer terminal(110) and a receiver terminal(120), and a user requests the purchase and the reception of the electronic gift certificate. In response to the request of the user terminal(100), a server(200) performs and manages the processes of the purchase and the reception thereof. A shop server(500) stores the information of sell and use of the electronic gift certificate, and manages member data. A settlement authority server(300) connected to the server(200), settles the bill for the electronic gift certificate bought via the buyer terminal(110). A mobile communication server(400) provides the information corresponding to the mobile communication number of the receiver. A terminal(600) connected to the server(500) issues the electronic gift certificate.
