PURPOSE: An electric vehicle having a dual power source is provided to travel the vehicle for a long time without exterior charging and prevent the over-discharging of a battery and the lowering of the output power when the vehicle travels a mountain. CONSTITUTION: Two batteries are alternately supply the power source by adding a battery which is an electric power source of an electric vehicle. The rotational force generated in a main power motor rotated by a battery power and a rear wheel of a vehicle is connected by a charging generator and a power transmitting device such as a belt. A DC power source generated by the rotational force is charged in a preliminary battery automatically separated from a main power supplying circuit. If the battery supplying an electric power is discharged, the power source supplying circuit is automatically switched to a waiting battery.
