PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a long material from jumping out of the opening of a fixed jaw to the outside of a clamp during applying impact to the long member. SOLUTION: A clamp includes a clamp main body 1, a fixed jaw 2 with one end connected to the clamp main body 1 and the other end open in a space to the clamp main body 1, a movable jaw 5 arranged so as to be protruded or retracted into or out of the clamp main body 1 toward the fixed jaw 2, a reciprocating member 7 arranged on the side face of the clamp main body 1 so as to freely reciprocate in association with the movable jaw 5 and a stopper 9 for preventing the movement of the reciprocating member 7 to the retracting in direction when the reciprocating member 7 is protruded out of the clamp main body 1 to close an opening portion 6.
