LABEL RELEASE MECHANISM FOR LABEL PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the suspension of a label released from a mounting paper and also prevent the suspended label from sticking to the peripheral members. SOLUTION: A supporting body 18 being brought into contact with a pasted face 2a of a label 2 and supporting the label 2 not to be suspended is provided in front of the forward moving direction of the label 2 released from a mounting paper 1, and the supporting body 18 is set on a position adjustable in the direction of moving close to or separate from a release point whereon the label 2 is released from the mounting paper 1. The position of setting the supporting body 18 is changed in compliance with the length along the forward moving direction of the label 2 released from the mounting paper 1 so that the various kinds of labels 2 of respectively different length released from the mounting paper 1 are supported in a good manner by the supporting body 18 to prevent the suspension of the labels 2 released from the mounting paper 1 and also prevent the suspended labels 2 from sticking to the peripheral members.
