PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly rigidly and compactly structure a connector capable of accepting two chip cards. SOLUTION: This connector for a double chip card reader capable of separately accepting two chip cards makes electrical connection with the accepted chip cards, and is equipped with two read frames having contacts 3, 4 respectively to be connected to a printed circuit board 5. In this connector, each of the read frames 1, 2 is equipped with a cover 6, 1a, these read frames 1, 2 and the covers 6, 1a are integrally assembled, and the read frames 1, 2 are displaced in their width direction F and in a perpendicular direction D to their flat surfaces. |
