PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular arc piston engine usable for a reciprocating piston engine capable of being constituted so as to hardly generate vibration and noise, reduce frictional loss, have excellent mechanical efficiency and be miniaturized and lightened. SOLUTION: This engine is provided with a circular arc cylinder having a circular shape in cross section. At the inside of the cylinder, a plurality of circular arc moving circular pistons mounted by holding balance are held by a rotor so as to perform reciprocating circular arc motion. Two connecting rods 6, 6 are installed in the rotor, oscillating power of the rotor is equally distributed to the connecting rods 6, 6 and this power is further equally distributed and transmitted to two crankshafts 10, 10a. Rotary power of the two crankshafts 10, 10a is synthesized via a gear mechanism and is outputted from an output rotary shaft. |
