PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inserting assembly used to form an electrical connection between parted contact pads of a circuit member, capable of preventing an unreasonable stress from being applied and forming a reliable electrical connection between pads. SOLUTION: This inserting body assembly is equipped with an integrated insulating plate having plural passages extending through the thickness of a plate 12 and an integrated protuberance extending in each passage, and plural metal contacts each of which has a recessed spring, contact noses at both ends of the spring and free ends located closer to each other than the noses 38, and the noses 38 are normally parted so as to have a bigger distance than the thickness of the plate 12 between them. Each contact is engaged with a play in each passage with the free ends of the contact being on both sides of the protuberance. Each part on both sides of each protuberance is provided with an inclined cam surface facing one side of the plate 12. The free end of the metal contact is curved so that the free end of the metal contact is engaged with the cam surface and slides along the cam surface, when the metal contact is compressed in the plate. |
