The electric supply to the interior lights (10) in a motor vehicle uses ribbon cable (12) with at least two flat conductive tracks (13), and a pair of connectors (14) which make contact with the conductors in the flat cable. The flat conductors are placed between two plastic sheets. Each of the connectors is shaped to support one of the conductive end caps (17) on the interior light bulb (11).
