PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a furnace floor material, and an incinerator employing it, in which the quantity of harmful substances in exhaust gas and the quantity of incineration ash to be treated can be reduced while ensuring high combustion efficiency. SOLUTION: A plurality of meshed bodies 1a are piled to form a grid layer 10. The grid layer 10 temporarily captures unburnt matters falling while being subdivided in combustion process and then burns the unburnt matters.
