PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption at intermittent reception. SOLUTION: This intermittent receiver is provided with a demodulation section 16, a 1st clock section 17, a 2nd section 18 and a timing control section 19. The demodulation section 16 applies demodulation processing to a received radio signal and the demodulation processing generates a demodulation clock. The 1st clock section generates a clock faster than the demodulation clock. The 2nd clock section generates the clock slower than the demodulation clock. The timing control section estimates a leading timing of the demodulation clock corresponding to a succeeding reception timing in the intermittent reception. Furthermore, the timing control section controls the 1st clock section substantially synchronously with the leading timing of the demodulation clock.
