For the provision of temporary thermal insulation, the insulation effect is achieved by at least one or more selective air layers formed by inflatable air cushions of a suitable plastics, which can be transparent or non-transparent as required. In operation, the gap between the walls is 10 mm through straps welded to two inner sides or offset welded bonding points between the front and rear walls. The edges are welded with edge strips to take mountings, and the edge strips can be reinforced by woven ribbons. The cushions have connections for filling, with valves.
