PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the transmitting speed optical in a transmission channel and to realize inexpensive transmission. SOLUTION: A processor used for transmitting digital data, particularly, image data through a transmission channel incorporates a compressing means (C) which compresses the data and is composed of a correlation canceling means CD, a quantizing means CQ, and an encoding means CC, and also incorporates an adjusting means R which inputs and holds correlation canceling data ID and set values IC sent from the correlations canceling means CD and supplies quantizing parameters to the quantizing device CQ. |
