PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically display a score according to a performing tempo of a player. SOLUTION: An electronic score device 10 displays a score on a display part 10e based on MIDI data for playing stored in a memory 10d. MIDI data (played MIDI data) played by a player is entered into an interface 10a. A control part 10c determines whether a chronological difference and a tonal scale difference between the MIDI data for playing and the played MIDI data stay within permissible ranges. If they are in the permissible ranges, the control part identifies a part being played and evaluate a playing tempo of the player based on the chronological difference. If the playing tempo is slower than a reference tempo of a musical piece being played, the reference tempo is modified to be slower. When the part being played reaches an end of a page, the control part 10c reads out MIDI data for a next page to display on the display part 10e.
