<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data input constitution obtained by completely new manual input to an electronic device. SOLUTION: This electronic device is provided with a means which detects an obstacle temporarily appearing in an input area 7A outside a main body of a device 5 and decides data input. Moreover, this device is provided with the means which projects an image to the input area 7A of a surface 8. This virtual keyboard is projected to the surface 8 which exists on the front face of the device or the folded part of the device. The image of the virtual keyboard is generated on the surface 8 by using a laser diode and diffraction optics, and the detection of a pointer or a finger which is present on the accurate area of the virtual keyboard is operated by using an infrared transmitting device and receiving device 9.</p> |
