<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve molding efficiency of a hose of an arbitrary dimension by forming a hose wall by spirally winding a strip band made by extruding a soft resin tube and flattening the tube and joining adjacent side edges each other and constituting a flexible hose by attaching a hard resin spiral reinforcing body to this hose wall. SOLUTION: A flexible hose 1 made by attaching a spiral reinforcing body 3 made of hard synthetic resin to an outer peripheral surface of a hose wall 2 made of soft synthetic resin is manufactured. At this time, the hose wall 2 is formed by using thermoplastic elastomer such as olefin based TPE and styrene based TPE and spirally winding a line band 4 made by flattening a tube extruded from a cross head of an extruding machine between a pair of pressing rollers on a hose molding rotary shaft. By winding and fusing a polyolefin based resin spiral reinforcing body 3 which has compatibility with the strip band 4 in a molten state and can be thermally fused around a joining part 4a at an adjacent side edge of the strip band 4, both of the reinforcing body 3 and the strip band 4 are integrally formed and the flexible hose 1 is prepared.</p> |
