<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concentrically manage documents and to make it possible to easily refer to related information when these documents are related with each other. SOLUTION: A user intending to register a document transmits the bibliographic data of the document to a mail server 101 together with attached documents through an electronic mail. In a document management device 102, a document acquisition part 111 receives the document, a document conversion part 112 converts the document into a document format allowed to be browsed by a web browser. A numbering registering part 117 allocates a number to the document and a link setting part 123 links the document with a document included in the document concerned and having an already allocated number. A registered document notification part 122 notifies persons concerned of the arrival of the document. Documents stored in a document storage part 103 can browsed by a web browser 105.</p> |
